Executive summary
Having worked as an auditor since 2004 and joined BDO Spain’s Pamplona office in 2012, Diego has extensive experience supervising and leading audit teams and performing audits of key economic sectors: pharma, construction, insurance, investment, and other locally important sectors, such as the meat industry, all for both the private and the public sector. His experience ranges from International groups to national and local ones.
Diego has also been part of the Risk and Quality Control Team of BDO Spain for several years, during which he has reviewed audits by colleagues. This has made him highly knowledgeable with regards to both national and International audit rules and regulations, and hyper aware of all regulators’ demands.
BSc in Business Sciences from the Universidad Pública de Navarra (UPNA). MSc in the Audit of Accounts, also from the Universidad Pública de Navarra, in collaboration with the Instituto de Censores Jurados de Cuentas de España (ICJCE - Institute of Chartered Accountants of Spain).
Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Spain (Instituto de Censores Jurados de Cuentas de España -ICJCE), of Spain’s Official Register of Account Auditors (Registro Oficial de Auditores de Cuentas - ROAC), and also of Spain’s Registry of Expert Accountants (Registro de Expertos Contables (REC).
