After spending his formative first years working in several other firms such as KPMG, Borja arrived in BDO in 2007. He has over two decades worth of experience in both national and international group audits and has given consulting services as well to a wide variety of sectors, including companies in the service, energy, manufacturing and financial industries, but also to venture capital and start-ups. His also has broad expertise auditing multinational groups and companies that are quoted on the Spanish stock exchanges and reviewed by the Spanish National Securities Market Commission (Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores – CNMV).
His expertise in the audit of financial statements for International groups also means that Borja is an expert in IFRS.
BSc in Business Administration from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona).
Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Spain (Instituto de Censores Jurados de Cuentas de España -ICJCE) and of Spain’s Official Register of Account Auditors (Registro Oficial de Auditores de Cuentas - ROAC).
